Alternative Roots

Kelly was always interested in Nature, Plants and Natural Remedies. So much so that her nickname was ROOTS AND DIRT or EARTH MUMMA by her closest friends.
After a very short stint in Allopathic Medicine, in 1995 Kelly made her way into the Natural Health Industry. She graduated with honours, obtaining her Natural Health Consultants Diploma while Managing Nutrition Houses.

Struggling with health issues of her own  in the early 2000's, she was forced to take a more personal approach to her work. Abandoned by Traditional Medicine who only offered drugs that did not help....she set out on a journey that forever changed her. 

Kelly took a rather radical approach but Her health did a phenomenal turn around. This prompted further education geared towards Hormones, Digestion and Nutritional Sciences. While Consulting was her first love, once introduced to Live Blood ....her love was transformed. She became Certified for Live Blood Cell Microscopy in 2017 and started assisting Client out of her home. 
 

In 2018 an amazing opportunity presented itself and Alternative Roots moved into a store front.

Unfortunately, 2018 also brought an untimely accident that left Kelly unable to do most daily activities much less run a business. 

Since that accident, she has become a Master Herbalist and a registered member of the Complementary Medical Association, a Certified Hair and Tissue Analyst and works with CanAlt, a Canadian Accredited Lab that specializes in HTMA (they do other testing too!) annnnd is becoming Board Certified in Light and Frequency Therapy!!! Woot..woot
